About Alexthenics

Welcome to Alexthenics! Our mission is clear: we’re here to make fitness content that’s accessible to everybody so we can create a healthier, stronger, and happier world. But that’s not all, we also show you how you can be active in your community and help not just make yourself better, but the world too!

At the core of the Alexthenics project is a dedication to well-being. I firmly believe that fitness should be an integral part of everyone’s life, regardless of age, background, or fitness level. Whether you’re taking your first steps into fitness or you’re a seasoned enthusiast, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

A little about me (Alex). My fitness journey began during my freshman year of college when I started making a habit of going to and enjoying the gym. Unfortunately, COVID came in and had me go home. Instead of letting that break my newfound habit, hobby, and passion, I pivoted into calisthenics training at my childhood home.

Upon returning to college, my fitness horizons expanded as he delved into bodybuilding and powerlifting. Now, after graduating, he’s embraced a hybrid training style that combines the best elements of various fitness disciplines. And after graduating I began the concept of trash walking. This is the idea of conservation combined with fitness where you clean trash out of your local area and burn some calories while doing it!
